The Tiny Adventure Shop is open on Etsy! You can now buy some of the TAC badges as pins to award your friends for their good behavior or to remind yourself that you’re doing really good work.
I know the Adulting & Mental Health packs are going pretty quickly, so get them while you can!
Yes, the moving into an apartment guide applies no matter what kind of home you are moving into. The only real difference would be that you may have more stuff to move for a house than an apartment.
I’m in the middle of buying a house right now (I close tomorrow!), so a house guide is certainly coming in the future. I would say maybe early next year, after I finish all of my own house stuff and also I have a big event in January at Missouri State University.
Adulting Fail Friday: Thanksgiving Edition!
As we enter the winter holiday season, keep sending your #holidayfail submissions, the same as you would your #adultingfail ones.
So if anyone else had their dinner overflow and get burnt onto the bottom of the oven, save yourself from having to use super nasty oven cleaner and put a paste of water and bicarb on the burnt on bits, and leave it on overnight.
The paste will soften everything up and you should be able to scrub 80/90% of it off without any real trouble. The bicarb, in addition to being a great scrub that won’t ruin the surface of the oven, should absorb the worst of the smell as well.

I know it can be a nightmare to dig through the tags and see all those asks and not the guides. So here is a handy-dandy list of all the “official” how-to posts.
FYI: This used to be a rude advice blog. It is not any longer. Some of the really old guides still use that format, but as they are updated with more information, they’re edited to fit the new, less abrasive format. For more info, please visit the about page.

Currently making updates to my resume, and making custom ones for difrent jobs, I’m still debating on adding to my load with two job instead on 1, since I’ll be taking 1 class for the spring semester.
With education I’m almost finished, and probably by 2018 I’ll be leaving to finish school in a town near me. And I think since 2017 is almost here I will be writing my “shit to finish before 2018” list. Seeing as this year might be the year I pull myself together before I move out and officially live on my own. Although I am looking for roommates to split the rent as much as possible, but I’m not sure how many people are interested in moving towns. And I still have a long way before I can officially move out. *like building credit* but in all, i would like to shout out @howtogrowthefuckup, their blog has so much useful shit for adulting, and this year I have to pick up more skills, and collect clutter for when I do move.
It sounds like you’re making really good progress!

Put them in the ask, not the comments, please!
